I’m wondering what the differences are in Outlook XP/2002 when you choose to use Word as the email editor.

When you choose word as the editor you are able to use the full features of that program as opposed to a limited text edit such as notepad or wordpad. This is great for automatic spell checking, paragraph formatting, etc. The main advantage is you get to work in a familiar environment and don't have to learn another program.

You need to be a bit conservative in that some of the features you can add via Word may not be available on the recievers end. Mahalo,
