I am able to get to my server and see my mail. however this is only fomr the internal network and I must type in the ip address or server name to get to it.
I cannot use the fqdn [mail.oursite.com/exchange]
I am sure I have to change something in the MX record but am not sure what or how.
the setup now is we had a NT 4.0 as our exchange 5.5 server. I am slowly switching over to a windows 2000 server. I want to be able to take the NT 4.0 offline and still exhange work [moving the mailboxes to the 2nd exchange server of course] and would like to use outlook web access.
Thanks

Make sure that the DNS record [mail.oursite.com/exchange] is resolving to your web server. Just to test if your OWA works externally, try accessing the OWA with url: [www.oursite.com/exchange].

Good Luck!
