Hi, we hava an Windows 2k server running exchange 2000. We've set-up Outlook Web Access which works perfectly.....unless we restart the server. Then OWA stops completely, giving us a 'you don't have permission blah blah blah' screen. We've found out that this is because, in the IMS (IIS) console, under default website, the directory browser in the exchange properties is off. We therefore manually click it and everything work fine again....until we restart the server again - don't ask why the server is restarted so often, I work for some strange people. Does anyone know what we have to do to stop this happening every time the server is restarted?

Thanks in advance.

Not familiar with Exchange 2000 but is this service that is not starting on boot set to manual?

To check this look under administrative tools, component services, and see if that particular service for Exchange is set to manual. If it does exsist there and it is set to manual switch to automatic.

Hope that helps.....
