Hello,

After I have created my Outlook add-in, I have installed it on my machine. This works, but on another pc with the same outlook (2003) version it doesn't work.

The add-in consists of a button in the standard commandbar. It uses the Interop.MAPI (to access the addressbook), Microsoft.Office.Core and Outlook references.

What do I have to do so that my add-in works on all machines?

thanx in advance.
Sjakie

Is the correct .net framework version installed on that computer?

During installation a notification showed up asking to install 1.14something. This is downloaded with windows update.

Are the interop assemblies installed in the same folder as your add-in?

Either way, you might want to try installing the office interop assemblies to the GAC.

I found the solution. The version of .Net was 1.1.422. And I had to reboot the computer. Thanks everyone for their help.

I do not know how to install the office interop assemblies to the Global Assembly Cache. Does it have something to do with shim? I am reading about it now. I have the interop assemblies in the References.
