I have setup my user to send as behalf on outlook and exchange 2000.

Since I am the administrator, when I test it, it works and the sender only show the person I am sending for. However, when the other user test this, it show the whole thing

"xxx send as behalf of yyy"

How can I set this so that the whole line doesn't show. and only shows the person it sending for.

It doesn't show for you because you have full permissions to the mailbox. The other person probably doesn't.

Thanks Joegz,

But.....what's the solution !!!

Give full permissons to the mailbox to the person in question.

Thanks Joegz,

Thanks for reply, but that solution cannot be done because the boss only wants specific folders to be visible.

Also, I went to the MX website and ddiscover that there are two methods, the first is send on behalf, and the second is "send as".....

The second method is what I want to do. I have follow the instruction given but doesn't work. any ideas....thanks./

I am having this problem with only one user, but for the others I did the following

created a group called their boss's mail group
added the secretary as a member

added it in to mailbox rights in the bosses profile (exchange advanced) and gave full mailbox rights,.

however, this one user, nothing is working.
