I have downloaded the outlook security settings form and installed it on a PC, which we need to be able to have unattended outgoing email working.

I have followed the MS instructions (installing components, Createing public folder, publishing form and createing security settings) and am having problems! whenever I create or edit a setting, I get a message box
The access levels on thi security setting, probably because of an invalid password. This setting is currently set as a default setting for all users. You should either delete the setting or save it again, and type the correct password

Unfortunately, I haven't been given an opportunity to put in a password!

I have tried, using Domain admin outlook profile to set it, plus other profiles.

The public folder "Outlook Security Settings" is in the root of the Public Folders

Any clues?

Take Care

Matt
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

I get this same message whenever I change the form also. It still works though. The changes do take effect for me. Have you checked to see if the security settings form works?
