Outlook Rules Not Running

Platform: All versions of Outlook, Exchange 2000 Server

I have created a message header rule.

Apply this rule after the message arrives
with Content-Description: Deleted Attachment Report in the message header
movie it to the Other folder

This rule runs file when fine when running it manually (Run Rules Now...) but doesn't run automatically which defeats the purpose of having a rule!

Anyone come across this at all?

Do you have other rules set up? The rules run in the order listed so it could be that another rule is overriding this rule.

We have many other rules on this mailbox, but none are similar to this one. We have only one message header rule which I mentioned above that isn't working. All other rules are running automatically.

There are a couple of conditions where rules don't fire correctly, but as far as I know they only apply to standalone .pst file installations; not Exchange.

Like cmeagan656, my first suspicion is also overlapping rules.

Does any rule above the rule in question have "Stop processing more rules" checked?
