Hey folks, I currently have an issue as follows: When a user fires up Outlook there is a 30-60 second delay. Its going outside of our network and trying to hit the Exchange server from the outside as I see Deny messages on our Firewall logs.

2007-01-09 07:44:55 Deny 192.168.1.116 to xx.xxx.xxx.xxx, 135/tcp 1117 135 1-Trusted Firebox denied 48 128 (Unhandled Internal Packet-00)

What is happening in the users outlook profile is that it is resolving to the wrong address, what I mean is that the server listed there is Exchange.abc123.com instead of Exchange.abc123.local. I looked at the name servers in the DNS and there is one listed for the Exchange.abc123.com and it points to the external IP, I dont recall why its in there, but any help would be appreciated. I had also changed the firewall software around the same this started happening so I was suspicious of the firewall settings causing this, but cant see where.

That does resolve the problem, but why would it all of a sudden change? We had no issues before in the local office, then Back in late December a few machines did this, the only fix was to create a new profile. I know, its not a big deal to do this, I am just wondering why.
