Hi Guys

One of our clients is running Outlook 2000 and Exchange 5.5 and when he wants to create a new email he would like to just type in the initials of the user and have the email address resolved straight away. For example to send an email to Jim Robinson, he wishes to type JR and have it underline the address. I have tried adding as an alias and this doesn't work.

Does anybody have any ideas on how to achieve this?

Thanks

Add the mailbox to his contacts, with the initial as the contact name. Don't know what you're going to do when you have conflicts for the initials, though. That could get sticky when your CEO is called Jim Smith and your receptionist is called Julie Scott.
