This was originally posted in the Microsoft Office forum, but I think this is a better forum for it...
This is a new one for me!
I received an e-mail message that was written in Word for Outlook (version 9 which I think is 2000). When I reply to the e-mail, one sentence in the middle of the e-mail is erased, and the entire format of the original e-mail is redone. I can understand why the one line is erased in the reply (because of privacy issues), but I don't understand HOW this is happening!
Example:
Original E-Mail: "Hi. How are you? I'm fine."
Reply: Quoted text "Hi. I'm fine." (2nd sentence eliminated)
I've printed the code, but since it's MS (XML?) code and not standard HTML, I'm not sure what I'm looking for.
Has anyone heard of this and know how to do it? This is a great trick that I want to have for future reference.
Thanks in advance!
