Outlook opens up Word 1

I have a client whom when ever she opens outlook, word also opens a few seconds later. It does not matter which machine I put her on, the same thing happens everytime. Would an email cause this? Is it some type of setting?

What version is she using? Go to Tools, Options, and choose the Mail Format tab. See if she is using Word as her e-mail editor and/or to read RTF messages. If she is, try un-checking the boxes and see if that stops this from occurring.
