Thanks for looking at my post.
Here is the situation. My office has three computers that use an offsite mail/web server. Last friday, all three Outlook installations started getting the following error whenever Outlook tried to send a message from an address associated with this offsite pop3: "No transport provider was available for delivery to this recipient."
Btw, I have a problem that must to be related to this one. You can read it here: thread950-628551 .
If it matters, two machines use Outlook 2000 and one has Outlook 2002. All the updates have been applied.
Facts:
1) No settings were changed last Friday, let alone on all three machines.
2) One machine has an earthlink account. When this address is used as the "Send From," the SMTP happily complies.
3) We are receiving mail okay.
4) I've checked the SMTP settings exhaustively and they are fine.
5) I've tried sending from another network (at home) without any firewall, physical or software, to no avail.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for reading.
