dear all
we don't have a clue... an external worker from our company works in england (we are in switzerland). he has a notebook (win xp and outlook 2003, connected to an exchange 2003 sp1). he has a dial-up connection and get his mails on this way from the the exchange (via exchange-protocol, not pop3).
he can send e-mails. but not get mails. also calendar-synch is not possible. there is no error message, the synch/send/receive starts and it works fine. but when you go into the mailbox with outlook web-access, there are new e-mails and new calendar entries!!
the guy sent us the notebook from england to switzerland. but we cannot find the problem. when we do exactly the same thing (dial up, ...) we get the e-mails/calendar entries!
so we sent the notebook back. and now he has still the same error. no synch/incoming mail, but he may send e-mails.
do you have any idea? we'll get the notebook tomorrow again and should fix it asap.
we would appreciate any tipps, tricks and ideas...
