Outlook Locks Up

My Outlook is locking up whenever I try to view an Email w/ an attachment. It doesn't matter what the attachment is (Word doc, Excel file, MPEG, PDF) it just locks up. I can get into everything else fine. Any ideas on how to fix this? BTW, I've reinstalled Outlook twice but the problem continues...

Outlook version 2002 SP3
OS - WinXP Pro 2002 SP1

If you use an anti-virus program that scans incoming emails try disabling it. I've heard of Norton Anti-Virus causing problems like this.
