Outlook keeps asking for PWD (save pwd is checked)

Hi,
Occasionally, ie at varying intervals roughly about once every week or so, Outlook will present the dialog asking for my account password after I hit Send/Recieve.

Now, when I set the account up, I checked the Save password box and obviously that works for a while. But out of the blue it pops up this dialog. The 'Save password' box is not checked by default in this dialog, but I do check it when I type in the password. And my password has not changed. Does anyone know why this is? Thanks,

I am having the same password problems on a workstation running Win XP Pro and Outlook XP. Changing the permissions and deleting the registry keys has not fixed the problem. Are there any more useful suggestions?
