Outlook jumps around

I have an XP Box running Office XP SP-2, we have Exchange 2000 running, the problem:

When I am in a subfolder under my Inbox and I use the find feature in Outlook, I hit the find button and it sends me right back to my Inbox. Any ideas? Thank you.
