Hi,

I have a issue with a 2003 server running exchange 2003 collecting email via POP.

The site has requested that they have the ability to collect email through outlook via HTTP.

- We have installed a cert serv, that is issuing certs ok
- Also setup iis to use ssl
- Last we have set Exchange to work RPC over HTTP/S in a
single server scenario.

The exchange server is named as follows

exchange.domain.local

Reports to outside world as

adsl.domain.co.uk

The cert publishes as

adsl.domain.co.uk

But when we try to connect we are being blocked. Running a test through rpc gives a errot 1722, which looks to be a RPC server in unavaiable.

I am a bit lost for ideas, if anyone can give me a pointer of where to look next or point in the direction of a good website for this it would be much appreciated.

So far I have been using

I think all this makes sense, if anyone needs further clarification please ask.

Thanks,

Paul

If aint broken, dont try n fix it!!!!!

Are u still having problems with RPC over Http, I'm no expert, but I think I made every mistake possible before getting mine working so maybe I can help,

Hi,

Yes , still having problems with this. Dont really have any specific errors to pass on (sorry), just that we cant get it to work.

If you could post a outline of things to look at im sure that would push us in the right direction.

Thanks,

Paul
