When I try and launch Outlook on one of our users pc, it opens up and then just
pauses, and does nothing. I go into task manager and the program is not
responding. No errors have come up to suggest why this is not working.

Outlook client version: 2000
OS Version: Windows 2000

Any help appreciated

Thanks
NW

What kind of setup do you have for Outlook? Does it connect to an Exchange server? Typically when you have this kind of issue it is due to the a psersonal folder (.pst) that is either getting too big or just too big for a network storage location or has some possible corruption.

If there is a PST file component and you use an Exchange server try disconnecting all components other than the Exchange server and see if it works.

If you do narrow it down to a pst file run the inbox repair tool on the PST file to see if it corrects it.
