I just upgraded to Office XP adn I am having a tough time with outlook.

When I first open Outlook XP, I am in my inbox and I can see my messages. If I click off of inbox, it cannot find my sent items, my contacts, nothing. Even if I go back to the inbox, it cannt find it either. I am getitng a message:

"Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Outlook could not access the specified folder location. The folder no longer exists".

If I close outlook and come back to it, I see the inbox, but if I leave the inbox I experience the same behavior. I am able to send and receive messages, and if I send a message I can pick a contatc from the "TO" button, so I know the data is here somewhere.

Any help appreciated.

Perhaps Q814556 is what you're looking for, although it doesn't quite seem to match up with what you're seeing. Might be worth a go.

What kind of mail setup do you have? Is the mail on an exchange server or are you just downloading mail to a local PST file from an ISP?
