Outlook Express restricts access to .doc attachments

I can't find any reference to this in the KB, and I now have two users who are having this problem: word attachents are being blocked by OE. I did a test with a text attachement and it opened. Is there a setting that tells OE what file types are safe and which to block?

I am stumped!

You'll need to "loosen up" OE's security. Read up on how here:

In OE - Tools, options.
Security tab - about the 3rd button down - blocks attachments. Remove the check, you're good to go.

When you upgrade to OE 6, it automatically checks this box.
