Hi all,

I have set up a rule in OE to Move certain incoming mail to a different folder when it arrives at the Inbox.

This works fine, but appears to be a Copy function because the original is left in the Inbox after the Move, i.e., I have two copies of the incoming mail, one in the Inbox and one in the folder the rule sent it to.

This appears to be what would happen if I had selected 'Copy to' rather than 'Move to'

Anybody shed any light ? I basically don't want to see the mail destined for the 'Move to' folder in my Inbox as well.

Thanks in advance.

Norman Watkins.

Can you please post the exact wording of the rule. May have it setup slightly off.

Hi mikecx,

Found it !!

Due to you encouraging me to go carefully through the rules, (I was copying them into a post), I found that a second rule I had created was a 'Copy to' .... Aargg !

Thanks NW
