Outlook express attachments are unsafe?

..I updated my Outlook express to the 6th version(last month) and now when I recieve e-mail's with attachments from SOME people it has a paperclip and it is highlighted in white and says OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your mail

how to stop this behavior?

why does it do this?

How does OE know that the attachement isn't safe?

This a security feature of recent versions of OE and Outlook to help prevent virus infections. To disable this feature --> Tools, Options, Security tab, uncheck 'Do not allow attachements....."
