Hi there , i have this strange problem win outlook express 6 ( under Win ME ) . When i click send and receive , nothing happens... actually i`m able to see the "sending" window for nothing more than half a second and then it disapears and of course .. no mail has been sent or receibed. That`s not all , if a write an email and then i click on SEND , this msg appears : "The Message could not be sent , an error has ocurred" . And no more information about the cause. I just don`t know what to do ... , i reinstalled Outlook Express , and it didn´t fixed . I even reinstalled Windows ME ( without formating the disk ) and the problem continues ! , Please Help ! thx in advance !

To isolate the problem , try another email client or remove 6 & go back to a previous version .

Ok i fixed it. Listen .., i deleted the .dbx folders , then i restarted outlook , new .dbx where generated and then "send & receive" worked fine. It seems there`s something wrong with the original .dbx mail folders , don`t know what exactly but... after deleting them the problem was gone. That explained why reinstalling windows or outlook express didn´t solve the problem. It`s curious , and it would be interesting to know the real cause. Thx to all
