Getting some weird colors in outlook express. On the send and receive mail icon I have a small colored square half way thought the icon. In the new message area I have multicolored squraes above each title. These are there all the time. Than at other times they are gone??

Just went back to Win98 SE from WinME and installed IE 6.0. Have reinstalled IE 6.0, no change.Went to add/remove clicked fix, no change. Can I go to the add/remove section, click add component, under communication click Outlook Express and reinstall.Or do I have to uninstall Outlook Express and reinstall? Any advice would be welcome.

When I run Outlook Express 6.0 and then click on Create, the New Message window that comes up is never maximized. I must always click to maximize it. The Outlook Express itself is always Maximized. How do I correct this?

Second, when I do Maximize the New Message window, the toolbar space is shown, but the icons them selves must be pulled out by using the mouse. Why don' they display acorss the window as they do in the main Outlook Express window?

I'm getting an error msg when opening ms outlook exp v6.

msg says: "msimn.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. you will need to restart the program.
an error log has been created."

i can not however find this error log!

my operating system is windows 2000 pro with all available updates installed.

I'm getting a HUGE email from a friend and it's so large that it's plugging up anything else that I'm getting. All it does is stall and now I have 90 messages behind this one. How can I stop this from happening and hoe can I prevent it from ever happening again?
