When a particular user tries to send out a meeting to one group it ends up going to other groups as well. We also have a secretary that left the company. We have removed her account and deleted all references we have found for her. When someone sends a meeting request to her old executive the sendee gets back an undeliverable message saying it cannot send to the secretary obviously because she is no longer with the company but I can't see why it is trying to send to her.

even though you may have removed this person from Exchange, she could still exist as a Delegate on the exec's Outlook config. Did you remove her from there?

That was the first thing I thought and when I looked at it she wasn't there. That is why I am lost. I was hoping it was a bug that sp3 would fix but it hasn't

does the exec get the message anyway, or does the whole thing get bounced? How is the sender "sending", by choosing the name from the GAL, or personal address book....? Is the exec the only recipient of these mails?

yeah he does get the message anyway and they are choosing it from the gal.

and he's the only recipient, right? I'm sure you checked for rules...Have you tried recreating his mail profile?

Will try that and let you know. There aren't any rules though and if there was he would get the error not the person trying to send the meeting requests.

This was actually an old issue that I was just following up on and it seems that it was fixed. I guess sp3 did fix it after all. The problem with it sending to the terminated employee. How about the second ? does anyone have any insight. Why are the appointments going to more users than she invited. I have checked to make sure these people aren't in any groups she has sent to and they aren't set as delegates.
