I get an error message when replying to or forwarding mail. I am using Outlook 2000 and the error message that I received is as follows. Outlook has caused an error in <unknown> Outlook will now close. I have to reboot my computer and can then reply or forward once or twice before it happens again. I would appreciate any assistance.

Thanks!

Have you tried:

Help ->
Detect and Repair

Sometimes (rarely) this can fix these types of enigmatic errors. If not, try to repair your installation of Office.

I have tried to repair and I also reinstalled. Still having the problem.

Is upgrading out of the question?

Yes, this is a business and the standard os office 2000

Honestly, I'm at a loss then. If you can't repair and reinstall does nothing...

Your only option would be to do a fresh install of the OS.

I am planning on phasing out this pc within the next month. An OS refresh is not worth the trouble. Thanks for your help. I think I'll call Microsoft for some assistance just to get me by.
