Hi,

Windows 2000 Server with Windows 2000 clients, Office 2000 Preimum allocated by a Computer based GPO using a Administrative install and a transform .MST file. Users using roaming profiles.

Is there any way to set where the default PST and settings go for Outlook 2000? Whenever I set up a new profile the outlook.pst file is created in the c:\documents and settings\local settings\application data\microsoft\outlook. This obviously creates a problem when roaming so I have to manually move the files to the non local settings area.

Does anyone know a way around this?

Thanks

Ash.

Forgot to mention Outlook is running in Internet only mode without an Exchange server - just running on a simple mail server.

Thanks

Ash.

You can use "newprof.exe" and "profgen.exe" to script all of this, but it will require someone to double click an icon to start it, unless you put it in the logon script. Cheers,
Sam
