I have an issue on a machine whereby when you view the contacts in the outlook address book, if you scroll down (or type a letter to jump to a point on the list) the system reports the following :- Outlook has caused a Stack Fault in Module Kernel32.dll at 0167:bff7c8bf.

There are approximately 250 contacts in this folder and it does not seem to do this until about the 100th contact. The machine runs Outlook 2000 and Windows 98 SE.

I have tried reinstalling / patching Office without any change, I have moved the contacts to an alternate contacts folder within the PST file also without effect. Scanpst also shows no errors.

Does anyone have any ideas what is causing this? Or what I can do to resolve the problem?

Thanks in advance.
