Outlook Birthday Reminders Might be Turned Off? 1

Is there any way to perhaps TURN OFF birthday reminders in Outlook?

(My calendar gets cluttered with these).

The reminders are set for all appointments depending on the setting in Tools, Options, Calendar Options. if you want to remove the reminder for birthdays, and you have set the birthday as a recurring event, then you need to open the birthday as a series and remove the reminder tick. Unfortunately you will have to do this for each birthday but only once for each one. In future, when you setting up a new birthday, remove the reminder tick when you create it.

I was trying to disable birthdays altogether (forever) to prevent birthday reminders from even occurring.

I studied Calendar Options (olook 2002) but could not find setting(s) for reminders.

I'll continue to study and let you know if I figure it.

Hi

To disable that you have just to click on the birthday event in the taskpad on the calendar and a window will popup and uncheck the box Reminder at the bottom.
