I currently have a dilemma that's got me in a rut at the moment. I need clients to be able to use Outlook XP to access my E2007 Server. I know that RPC over HTTP is only available for clients from 2003+. Is there any way that I can get RPC over HTTP to work with my Outlook XP clients to access the Exchange Server (maybe a workarond that MS doesn't support at the moment)? I would use IMAP, but I've learned that it doesn't support public folders in E2007. I really need public folder access, and don't have the current funds to setup SharePoint Services. Am I SOL? Any help would be appreciated.

Outlook XP doesn't do RPC over HTTP.
Choices are VPN or upgrade Office.

Zelandakh is right on. Outlook Anywhere supports Outlook 2003 and 2007 only.

May be you can try outlook web access. It provides more features than 2003.

Yeah, Outlook Web Access is cool, but I wanted to have Public Folder access, and OWA doesn't offer that with the default software. I guess it's VPN or upgrade, like said earlier. Thanks for the advice.

Unless you wait for PF access to return in SP1
