Windows XP
Outlook 2000 (all service packs)
User had different versions of outlook and word installed on PC that were causing her major problems. I decided to removed both versions and reinstall office 2000. Now the user's "autotext" entries are not available. Through some research I found that the autotext is included in the normal.dot file. I tried searching for the file and didn't find one on the PC. Is there a way to get this file back? (From my understanding all settings are stored on our exchange server). Didn't realize this one wasn't...or unless I think it isn't. Am I pretty much out of luck...should i tell her to recreate autotext again?
Thanks.
