Outlook ALWAYS receving .txt attachments

Hi,

As described above Outlook 2000 using Internet email only is receiving messages with the body attached as a text file.

eg. my message subject could be Working Late.
So it will have an attachment Working Late.txt

Any ideas where I could start to track this down?
