Outlook 6 in xp (DUTCH version) fails to work correctly

Hi folks:

i using windows xp (dutch version) and i have email
account at wanadoo.es (spanish isp). I checked my email directly at

http://www.wanadoo.es

and it works fine.

When using Outlook 6 (which comes with xp) i can send but when pressing the F5 button to connect to my email with wanadoo.es it keeps asking for my passord (which should work fine)

(in dutch but have done some translations in some parts of error message)

Er is een probleem opgetreden tijdens het aanmelden bij de e-mailserver. (a problem occured when contacting your email server )Uw wachtwoord is geweigerd. (your password has been refused) Account: 'pop.wanadoo.es', Server: 'pop.wanadoo.es', Protocol: POP3, Reactie van server: '-ERR Re-Authentication Failure', Poort: 110, Beveiligd(SSL): Nee, Serverfout: 0x800CCC90, Foutnummer: 0x800CCC92

my outlook config is:

in accounts -- pop.wanadoo.es and double clicking this --
incoming mail : pop.wanadoo.es and outgoing mail : smtp.wanadoo.es and i have used password verification etc
(and also without it) and "this server needs password verification and its config but no look

Outlook does the following when pressing F5: it keeps asking for my password (but i checked remember password)
anyway see the above error message

Sorry, and i also applied all the updates, fixes etc.. for ie 6 and Outlook 6 from microsoft with windows update.
and still no luck.
