How can I make Microsoft Outlook 2003 send an .html file
in the body of a message instead of as an attachment. It
worked with the 2002 version, but not 2003. I send the
results of a Microsoft Access query to my local users.
They have to open each .html file to review the records
sent. It really helped when they could see the results in
the preview pane instead.

This is not only happens with query results, but with any output (excel file, Access Report, Pivot Table, Etc.).

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul K.

Yes. I've tried all of the options, but I'm afraid it cannot be done. I'd love to be proven wrong...Thanks for responding. -Paul K.

You can try saving the output file to a Word Doc, opening the file in Word and selecting Send To>Mail Recipient. I have done this with HTML files and it worked fine.

Hey genenranae2k,

Thanks for the nice tip. I can get that to go, but is there an easy way to automate the process? I open the query and output it to a Word doc with no problem, but at the same time, I would like the Word doc to open and be ready to mail. Any thought? Thanks, Paul K.
