I have Outlook 2003 on a Windows XP home edition. I have a very weird problem. My emails go first to my domain e-mail server, waits until outlook downloads them and then I read them. I have done it like this for years, simple setup, not a brainier. For the last 20 days, outlook downloads the e-mails (the show bar showing the process tells me how many e-mails are downloading) but then... nothing, they disappear!!!! I decided to click on living the e-mails on the server to check them since they seem to be disappearing about a week ago and since then; I can check them since they stay there. I tested the e-mail settings and an outlook tells me that it works. Outlook does send e-mails ok, and they get storage in the SENT folder. I just tried uninstalling outlook and reinstall it again... same thing! I run Symantec antivirus with a fresh definition file: Clean. I run Webroot Spy Sweeper with a fresh definition: Clean.

What I am missing here???? I am pulling my hair out by now :(

While in your inbox, make sure that View, Current View is set to 'show all messages'.

The view is set up for "messages" and my filter setting was in low. I changed it to:
"No protection: Although this turns off the automatic Junk E-mail Filter, Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 will continue to evaluate"
Tried and e-mails downloads but disappears!!! I should also mention that the "junk e-mail" folder is also empty...

Thanks for the feedback...I am loosing my mind on this one
