As a new "security" feature of Outlook 2003, you can no longer send / recieve Office files as attachments (so it would seem). Is there any simple way of disabling this?

Thanks,
Dan

My usual advice is to Zip them 1st.
It's a bypass but usually works!

Yeah, but the people will be sending lots of attachments. I'm sure I remember hearing a way to change Outlook so it accepts the attachments.???

hello

Close outlook

In Regedit, navigate to HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\x\Outlook\Security

for X put the numeric version number of your version of outlook - for outlook XP use 10.0, for outlook 2003 use 11.0

Create a new string called Level1Remove (Case Sensitive)

For the string value, add whatever file extensions you want to allow (including the dot) seperated by colons e.g. .exe;.lnk

or see this link:

good luck with it
