Outlook 2003 and public folders 1

We're in the process of migrating from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003. I've began moving mailboxes and synchronizing public folders - all works pretty good so far in mixed mode. The only problem I have is being able to access public folders when using either OWA 2003 or Outlook 2003; I get the following message:
Unable to display the folder. Network problems are preventing connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer.

Any ideas?

I've been having the same problem from a fresh install.
From the ESM if I try to get the properties of any folder under public folder store I get "The operation failed due to an invalid format in the http request..."and from outlook I get insufficent permissions to perform this action.
This happens even on a new group that I create.

Hope some one can offer some help.
