Outlook 2003 and Hotmail

Have a user who need to check his hotmail account (has authorisation to do so) within outlook. Autochecks every 15 mins and all seems okay. Problem is when you choose one of the folders (say inbox for example), it synchronises the folder, and as this is his hotmail account, this causes a lag in viewing his email.

Anybody have any idea's
