I have multiple mailboxes setup in Outlook 2003 (on Win2k). One is my primary mailbox, and the other is a shared mailbox.

I want to know if there is a way I can use seperate audio notifications for each mailbox.

Anyone know if there is a way to do this.

Thanks,
Scarecrow

Set up a RULE to notify you when mail is recieved through a specific account.

Using this method you can have a text message come up and/or play a specific sound file or do a myriad of other things.

If you need step by step instructions let me know and I'll post a message with the "how to".

Good luck.

I tried setting up a rule to monitor incomming email for that box. Unfortunately, I'm finding that the rules only apply to the primary exchange mailbox. I can't get it to process on the other.

You could forward the shared mailbox messages to your primary box, which will then allow you to use a filter and/or rule on that.
