Hi

does anybody know how to color code emails in Outlook 2003 / 2007 that are only from internal addresses or servers, ie the Global Address List ?

I know you can apply automatic formatting based on the sender's address but I'm trying to do this based on the fact they are in the GAL.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Many Thanks.

you could set a rule that checks the domain in the sender's address.

Cheers,

Hi

thanks for replying. I've tried that but it doesn't work. For example, if my domain name is xyz.com then I put that in the rule but no joy. I've also tried using the X400 or X500 addresses but I'm not entirely sure of the correct notation or syntax for this in a rule.

Any more ideas ?

Thanks

I found a option 'sender is in specified address book' near the end of the option list, but that didn't work for me for some reason.

As far as I can see, your only option is create a group with all employees and have it check against that.

Cheers,

Roel
