outlook 2002 slow to start

hey there,

we got a machine running on XP pro with sp2.

but outlook 2002 took 15 minutes to load.

we patched it with office sp3, no luck.

its a dell dimension 4700.

when using task manager, we noticed there are two outlooks trying to starting up. eventually one would vanish.

any ideas about this?

Do you have a "Detect and Repair" option under the Help menu? There is a Check Box to restore shortcuts that might be worth a try.

hey there

thanks for the reply. we removed msn tool suite from that machine, then the outlook is fine.

but we have to fix windows telephony problem before we can connect that machine to the net via pppoe.
