Outlook 2002 permance issues w/E5.5

Anybody know off the top of there heads or another source, to locate what ports Outlook 2002 and Exchange 5.5 use? My exchange server is configured to use port 1225 via the registry but, my Outlook 2002 users are experiencing terrible performance issues from the road via VPN and off VPN. My Outlook 2000 users are just fine though.. any tips would be appreciated. Just wondering if I should configure the client differently other than turning off IM I haven't changed much.
