Outlook 2002 error !!

been using Outlook 2002 for a while now, and never have a problem till my ISP did a upgrade on the e-mail server
and my outlook 2002 will not work again

kept giving me this problem of "Sending and Receiving reported error (0x80042108): Outlook is unable to connect to your incoming (POP3) e-mail server...."

did a search on the knowledge base and Microsoft said it is a Norton's firewall, i don't use Norton, only use PC-Cillin 2002, but i un-install it, still the same

any one have any idea ?

check tools accounts for the dial up account - upgrade may have changed/wiped either the login details or the pop server.

no use, tried them all, even went to un-install it and re-install and even re-appply the service pack and nothing helped, all Microsoft's site refer too are all common sense crap

Check your ISP POP3 detail is correct in your Outlook. If the ISP upgraded they may have changed their POP3 name.

ya, been there, done that, the thing is it is not really my isp 's problem, i setup another system with outlook 2002 and it works fine
outlook express works fine as well

just outlook 2002, i believe there is a corrupt file i need to fix, but not expert in it to know which file
