We are in the process of converting from Groupwise to Exchange 2000/Outlook 2002. We are running the migration utility to export users data. Does anyone know why when some users log in for the first time (Outlook) it automatically imports their Calendar data and some users have to do it manuallly. I looked everywhere and can not find a resolution. The calendar files are .sc2 type. "Only those who risk going too far
can possibly find out how far one
can go."

I don't know why this happens, but we've had the same experience as well. We recently migrated from GW to Outlook 2002. Initially with the export tool, an email message was sent to the users with the calendar file (sc2 file)attached. Unfortunately, many users deleted the message and didn't import their calendars. We are using the tool to import their calendars with mixed results. Some get the email message, some receive a prompt asking if they would like to import and others are automatically imported. Stranger still is that some users have nothing occur. I'm very interested in knowing why these different results occur.

I glad I'm not the only one expereincing this strange problem. I have looked everywhere for a explaination/solution. "Only those who risk going too far
can possibly find out how far one
can go."
