I am currently looking for a rule to import that would help to prevent spam. The one included in outlook 2000 is not good enough. Is there any out there?? I need to implement it on a few computers in a Lan environment. However, the corporation does not have spam software nore do i have access to the microsoft exchange server. So the best solution i derived at would be adding a rule to every user..
unless somone can recommend a free software that works with outlook 2000

thanks in advance

And unfortunately, key word filtering will not help you curb the amt of spam that you receive since spammers are always getting around filters (yes what they do is illegal, but when did spammers care?).

And get your "business" to at least install a Spam filtering service on the server (using many of hte Rbls/Sbls/DNSBL's out there) that will help you eliminate mcuh of the spam that originates from known sources (ie china, korea, argentina, russia)

yah tell me bout it ..i know they have absolutely nutin to protect spam and believe im embarresed of who they are and they dont have it ..i dont wanna mention names ...cuz if spammers get hold of the co orporation we are looking at
over 40,000 users. but im just trying to implement something for about 100 users at the moment..its a start is all im looking for just to show management..that although we are trying it is not enough..unfortunately they are old skewl style people and are afraid of technology

thanks
