Outlook 2000 - Shift Key's auto name fill-in

When I press the shift key to write a note on an e-mail message I am replying to or forwarding,the program automatically prints out my name in brackets. It looks somewhat like this: I [Violetta] ....
How can I turn this function off?

It actually has nothing to do with the Shift key. Tools, Options, E-mail Options, deselect 'Mark my comments with..'
