Outlook 2000 pink icon

As anyone seen this problem with Outlook 2000?

The background of the mail/envelope icon in the right pane of Outlook is pink instead of white. If you restart the computer the icon will be normal until you close Outlook and reopen it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Did you find the answer/resolution for a pink message icon? Mine just went pink! But I can't find how to make it go away or if it's dangerous. The color is actually 'fuchsia', but no search on pink or fuchsia pulled up anything useful.
