This is my first post so here goes;
I have a clients pc running win2k prof sp3, OE version 5, IE version 6. outlook 2000
The first problem is that outlook2000 will not start always gives a very non descriptive error message "The Operation Failed"
Second problem OE 5 opens but with error "address book failed to load. outlook express is incorrectly configured please re-install"
The client originally used outlook2000 and had OE 6 also alot of important e-mails, i have found the .pst folders that i hope contain his e-mails and backed them up.
I have tried the following: detect and repair from within outlook2000, upgrading to outlook xp, re-installing outlook2000, removing office service pack. what a mess!
If you can help much appreciated.
