Outlook 2000 mail doesn't move from outbox to sent

We imported an archived .pst file (we don't have exchange) into a mailbox.pst and ever since then messages sent don't move from outbox to sent items. The messages are received by the recipients but they don't move to the sent items folder.

I've tried the inbox repair tool but that still didn't fix it. I even removed the archived .pst folder. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
