Hello,

We use IMAP folders in Outlook 2000.
When we delete a message from the IMAP folder it puts a line through it. You then have to go to EDIT > PURGE DELETED MESSAGES to completelety remove them from the IMAP inbox folder.

Is there a method of setting up a macro or rule whereby when the message is deleted it is moved to the deleted folder. I have looked but cannot find anything that will allow me to do this.

Has anyone got any ideas.

Thanks.

For the Internet Mail Only installation of Outlook that is normal behavior when using an IMAP server. No way around it. joegz
